Alexis Mabille Welcomed as New Paris Couture Member

When we heard Alexis Mabille had recently been named an official member of Paris haute couture, we knew it was very well deserved. With only 16 other houses on the prestigious list, we always know that new designers that are welcomed have something truly special to give to the world of couture. The first look of the show was a beautiful pleated organza camisole with delicate lace, accompanied by a pair of tapered radzimir pants. We also loved a sleeveless button-down shirt with an embroidered bib and an ombré-dyed tiered and pleated floor-length skirt which was less day-wear and more extravagant. With guess and friend Dita Von Teese sitting front row, we wonder how much of the collection was focused on the sophistication of most women or the drama of couture on a burlesque star.
