Jenny Packham Spring 2013

The Jenny Packham Spring 2013 collection had all the makings of an ideal line for a new princess. In our

opinion it every piece looked like it was made for Kate Middleton. Yes, we know the Duchess has worn a few of

Jenny Packham’s pieces, yet we were a little surprised the whole line seemed to be re-worked to please the

Queen. In other words, shiny cocktail dresses and conservative-cut long dresses were shown in black, grey tones

and white and other muted tones. Embellishment and beading were prevalent in the line with silks and satin the

fabrics of choice. We thought the collection was nice, yet safe and a little more commercial than we could

remember. However, as always, we enjoyed the elegance and the sophistication of the line.
