Michael Kors Spring 2013

We think we finally got one major trend for this Spring 2013, well, from the New York’s designers’ perspectiveat least- boldness of color and lots of pin-stripes from many designers this week. One of the first shows this morning, Michael Kors showed a very bold collection with bright colors that caught the eye. Canary yellow, red, green, navy, white were all a part of the color palette and stripes were the print du jour. Marc Jacob’s show yesterday had this kind of simple boldness which also mixed a 1960’s feel. Kors went bold with tinted visor-like sunglasses, clear straps on bold color heels of green, red, and yellow and boxy handbags gave the collection a retro feel. We always like the way Kors mixes his womens and menswear on the runway, one great call out for guys: bright, bold color ties.
